Valencia is chaotic: the sacking of coaches, Ronaldo acting agents and the threat of civil war

On Wednesday (11/09/2019), local time, the trigger for the time bomb in Valencia began to light. It all started when team owner Peter Lim fired Marcelino Garcia Toral.

Although the 54-year-old coach holds a special place in the hearts of fans. How not, he was responsible for the rebirth of Valencia after, before, almost falling in the Segunda division.

Even more miraculous, he managed to bring Valencia back to participate in the Champions League last season. He then achieved the same success by taking Valencia to fourth place in La Liga last season.

However, at the time of the team's rebirth, Lim made a controversial decision. He fired Marcelino before an important match against Barcelona this weekend and against Chelsea in the Champions League a few days later.

Share agent Ronaldo, Mendes

As a replacement for Marcelino, Valencia has given Albert Celades the job of coach. This decision made all the audience more angry because Celades did not have more experience in training than assistant Julen Lopetegui at Real Madrid.

The situation worsened by the presence of the eclipse super agent Cristiano Ronaldo, Jorge Mendes. He is believed to be a hidden figure who foiled the efforts of Marcelino and team director Mateo Alemany to bring Denis Suarez and Rafinha to Mestalla.

The influence of Mendes in Los Che is quite large. He often brings his orbital players, like Joao Cancelo for example. But most of them don't play well. For example, Alvaro Negredo, Aymen Abdennour, Enzo Perez, Nani.

Peter Lim himself was apparently not satisfied with Marcelino's policy in recruiting players. He wants Valencia to be filled with many young players, such as Ferran Torres and Kang-in Lee, so he can benefit greatly from his future sales.

Player protest

Lim's decision to fire Marcelino made many important figures speak. From the players to those who defend Valencia.

One of them is a veteran defender, Ezequiel Garay. Through social media, he condemns decision makers. "Whoever makes this decision will not only stomp you, but the whole team and the fans, I will say it loud and clear: IT'S NOT LOOKING."

Meanwhile, Dani Parejo said the tribute touched hearts via Twitter. "Boss, I wish you all the best, I'm sure you will do well wherever you go. Thank you for making this club bigger and better for me," he wrote.

Canizares and Celades fees

Former Valencia goalkeeper Santiago Canizares also spoke about Valencia's current coach, Celades. "He doesn't know how he will be welcomed in the dressing room, his task will be very complicated from the start," he said.

Meanwhile, Celades himself was well aware that the responsibility he was carrying was rather large. "We will try to find the best way, I am not afraid, I know that the demands are great and I understand the concern of not having great experience at club level," he said.

Experience is not the only reason why Los Che fans are angry at management. But because Celades has a special relationship with Jorge Mendes. His agent, Carlos Bucero, works for the man from Portugal.
