Use 3-4-4, Inter Milan Have 'BBC Trio'

The experienced Italian coach, Marcello Lippi, predicts Inter Milan will form a 3-4-3 formation under Antonio Conte. Inters has the quality in the front and back lines to use this training.
Together with Antonio Conte, Inter Milan have played two official matches in Serie A. Both matches were against Lecce (27/08/2019) and Cagliari (2/9/2019). Both matches were won by Inter Milan.

In these two matches, Conté played in a 3-5-2 formation. That has reduced the composition of players that are almost the same. Duo Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku are the mainstay of the front lines.

Antonio Conte played against Lecce and Cagliari before Alexis Sanchez officially joined Inter Milan. Thus, the best choice for Conte on the front lines is to pair Lautaro and Lukaku.

Well, now Sanchez officially belongs to Inter with the status of a loan player. Lippi said Sanchez's arrival would encourage Conté to change training. Conte will make it easier for Sanchez to play regularly.

"I'm sure Antonio will have three strikers," Marcello Lippi, quoted by Gazzetta dello Sport, said.

"Why can't he play 3-4-3? The count did it and that was possible with Sanchez and Politano," continued the former Juventus coach.

If you use three attackers, Inter Milan can play Sanchez on the right, Lukaku or Lautaro in the middle and Politano on the left.

Juventus used to have a legendary composition in the back row, the BBC Trio. The three consisted of Leonardo Bonucci, Andrea Barzagli and Giorgio Chiellini. This trio is also a mainstay of the Italian national team.

Marcello Lippi saw that at Inter Milan the potential of the trio was as great as the BBC.

"Before they can compare Ddiego Godin, Stefan De Vrij and Milan Skriniar with the BBC, they must win something first, but it can be done," said Marcello Lippi.
