Tale Problem Racism in Lukaku: Don't go to the stadium to insult people

Cagliari - Romelu Lukaku was a target of racism when Inter Milan went to Cagliari headquarters, in the Italian League. The Nerazzurri coach, Antonio Conte, responded.

Inter won 2-1 against Cagliari in a match that will take place at the Sardegna Arena on Monday (2/9/2019). Lukaku was the winner who decided La Beneamata with a goal through the white point that was booked in the 72nd minute.

Previously, Inter had taken the lead with Lautaro Martinez in the 27th minute. The goal was equalized by Joao Pedro in the 50th minute.

Racial harassment at Lukaku occurred before Belgium took a penalty. Cagliari supporters chanted monkey voices.

"I have to be honest with you. I was very focused on the match, so I didn't hear the song that attacked Lukaku," Conte told Foxsport.

"Having said that, I cannot discuss it more precisely because I did not hear it, but as often happens at other times, I think that in Italy we have to clean up a lot of things."

"We need to provide more education and more respect for everyone who works. Again, I'm not talking about that specific moment in general."

"For example, on Sunday, Carlo Ancelotti protested because he was insulted throughout the match, I don't understand why that happened. When you work in another country, his respect is higher."

"Everyone supports the team, they don't come to the stadium to insult people, the fans focus on the team," he added.
