Steve McManaman: Firmino lifted Liverpool to a higher level

Steve McManaman congratulated Roberto Firmino for his brilliant performance when Liverpool defeated Newcastle. According to him, the Brazilian player lifted the Reds to another level.

Liverpool received Newcastle in the Premier League on Saturday (09/14/19), that night. Playing at Anfield, Jurgen Klopp's troops won 3-1.

Firmino started the match against Newcastle from the bench. Klopp wants to rest his players before the Champions League match against Napoli.
However, the former Hoffenheim player was finally played by Klopp in the 37th minute. He came to replace Divock Origi, injured.

Firmino's presence had a very positive impact on Liverpool. He played a major role in the second and third goals of the Reds scored by Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.
Liverpool legend Mcmanaman was very impressed with Firmino's performance. He felt that the Brazilian had a big impact on the Reds.

"It was extraordinary, the touch was beautiful, brilliant to look at, it was an absolute class of Firmino, they tried to protect him, but in the end they took him and he took Liverpool to a higher level."
"It was great watching him for 60 minutes on the field, he was involved in Liverpool's second and third goals, and when he came he lifted Liverpool to a higher level."

This victory makes Liverpool remain at the top of the Premier League standings. They have 15 points in five matches.
Firmino has scored two goals and made three assists in five league games this season.
Liverpool will then travel to Italy to face Napoli (9/19/19) in the Champions League.
