Robertson: Firmino has a big impact on Liverpool

Liverpol left back Andrew Robertson praised Roberto Firmino who said that his presence had a huge impact on the team's performance on the field.

The praise was issued after Liverpool hosted Newcastle on the fifth day of the Premier League match at Anfield on Saturday (09/14/2019). At that time, the Reds won 3-1 and Firmino contributed greatly to that victory.

He did not play as a starter at that time. Firmino only played in the 37th minute to replace the injured Divock Origi.

Firmino immediately showed a brilliant performance. He finally helped set goals by Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.



Worried for Origi

The Scottish defender was delighted by Firmino's appearance. But he also said he was worried about Origi's injury.

Robertson hopes Origi can recover quickly. In addition, Liverpool will soon be faced with a busy schedule.

"We have a big division to go through. Let's hope the injury isn't too bad, but he has to leave the field at that time," Robertson told Liverpool's official website.

"But getting Bobby is always a good substitute," he continued.
