Reus opponents may Messi Dortmund Main

Borussia Dortmund will host Barcelona in the Champions League group stage. Marco Reus hopes Lionel Messi might appear.

Messi did not play from the start of the 2019/2020 season. The Barcelona captain suffered a thigh injury during the competition break.

"I would be very happy if Messi played. He is the best player in the world," Reus was quoted as saying on the official UEFA website.

The match against Barcelona will not be easy for Dortmund. Reus asks all players to be vigilant and to score goals.

"We face a difficult match tomorrow. We must be vigilant. We must achieve good results, find ways to create opportunities, and of course score goals," he said.
