Dovizioso Not Satisfied with the Misano Test Session

Andrea Dovizioso immediately fell during a training session at Misano after a serious accident at the British MotoGP. However, he was not satisfied with the results. Why
Dovizioso was declared to be able to take part in the MotoGP training session at the Misano circuit on Thursday (08/29/2019) and Friday (08/30). He felt physically fit despite having an accident during the previous race.

The Ducati rider got his best result in 14th position in the second session on Friday. Although he is not ranked in the top, he acknowledges that this test session is important for evaluating different tracks during the race.

"This is a very important test because we found that the track is very different from last year's track with less traction," said Dovizioso, quoted by Autosport.

The difference in grip on the track compared to last year made Dovizioso difficult to drive. As a result, he was not satisfied with his performance during the test session.

"His grip has decreased compared to last year and it is quite difficult to feel comfortable with a bicycle, because if you drive slowly on a small track without enough traction, it will be very difficult."

"I really fought with my own motorbike, so I can't drive it properly, I'm not happy," the 33-year-old said.

Dovizioso claimed to have tried various motor modifications, but the results still seemed inadequate. He hopes his condition will be better during the race this weekend.

"We tried a number of tweaks, we made a number of changes, we understood something, but that was not enough to match the level of other runners who were faster," said Dovizioso.
