Before going to Real Madrid, Ferland Mendy Never Rejected PSG

Real Madrid's defender, Ferland Mendy said he turned down an offer to defend Saint-Germain Sands (PSG) last year. He declined the offer because it had agreed to defend Olympique Lyon.

Ferland Mendy is one of the PSG Academy players who dropped out of school. The players have spent eight years at the Paris academy before finally moving to Le Havre and Lyon successfully.

"There are a number of years, I have had the opportunity to play for PSG. But I'm not too interested in what they provide," the city of Mendy Canal + said.

"At that time, I agreed to join Lyon and PSG never left when he was young. At that time, they began to provide opportunities to play after my soccer career was almost over because amputations were threatened," he added.

In the middle of next week, Mendy and Real Madrid will face PSG at the Parc des Princes in the first week of the 2019-20 Champions League. He also said they were willing to return to Paris and play in front of his family at the Parc des Princes.

"I am from Paris and my family will be present at the Parc des Princes for the match. Thus, the match has a very special meaning for me," Mendy said.
