Barcelona dressing room rejects Antoine Griezmann?

Antoine Griezmann's arrival was widely rejected by Barcelona players. However, the news was denied by the president of Barcelona, Josep Maria Bartomeu.

Barcelona bought Griezmann from Atlético de Madrid in July 2019. In fact, Barcelona tried to buy Griezmann in 2018. However, at that time Griezmann decided to stay at Atlético.

Griezmann moved to Barcelona for 120 million euros. This price is in accordance with the 28-year contract clause in Atlético Madrid.

Griezmann arrived when important Barcelona players wanted the club to bring Neymar. Because of this, news emerged that Barcelona forces actually refused the arrival of Griezmann.

Bartomeu's rejection of Griezmann's rejection problem

The possibility of Barcelona buying Neymar from PSG

Neymar is available in the summer transfer market in 2019. The 27-year-old will be sold by PSG. However, the expensive price requested by PSG is difficult to reach in the stronghold of Barcelona.

Bartomeu himself confirmed that the club has no plans to buy Neymar in January 2020.

"This team is more competitive than last season. This is a small team, but very competitive. I look forward to this season," Bartomeu said.

Barcelona alone already has enough strikers. Aside from Grizmann, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, Blaugrana still has Ansu Fati, Ousmane Dembele and Charles Perez.
