This Causes Matteo Darmian to Leave Manchester United
Matteo Darmian spoke out about his departure from Manchester United. Darmian said he was forced to move for the sake of the continuity of his career.Darmian first joined the Red Devils in 2015 ago. At that time he was bought from Torino with a transfer fee of around 15 million Euros.
At first Darmian's career went well at MU. He became a mainstay of Louis van Gaal on the right side of United's defense.
But since Jose Mourinho came, the situation has worsened. He was unable to compete with Antonio Valencia, who was conjured up by Mourinho to become a right-back.
Forced to Move
Darmian himself admitted that he actually still enjoyed his career at Manchester United.
But he said that the lack of playing hours he got forced him to look for a new club this summer.
"I really want to play and when there is an offer to return to Italy, it makes me decide to leave Manchester.
Darmian also stressed that he did not hold a grudge against Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who gave him little chance to play.
Darmian said that the coach has the best plan for his team, so he can accept if he is not included in the coach's choice.
"A professional player must be able to accept the decisions made by the coach. You must continue to work hard and be ready." he said
Darmian will most likely undergo his debut with Parma after the international break later.
Parma is scheduled to host Cagliari in the third Serie A Giornata on 15 September.
