So, Jorginho from Liverpool, Adam Lallana was inspired by Frenkie De Jong

Adam Lallana got the last role at Liverpool this season. His role is very similar to what Chelsea midfielder did under the direction of Maurizio Sarri, Jorginho.

Previously, Lallana was often given the mandate of a box-to-box midfielder who continued to run and was stabbed in the penalty area. But in a series of preseason matches yesterday, he played more in a deeper position.

He is often placed in the middle and flanked by two other circles. Lallana's job is to be a liaison between the back sectors and most importantly by organizing attacks. In Italy, this role is known as regista.

This role is attached to Andrea Pirlo, a former Juventus player and AC Milan. In England, Jorginho is a player who knows that well. That's why Maurizio Sarri insisted on bringing him to Chelsea.


Learn from Frenkie De Jong


Lallana has not been able to show off his last assignment in the Premier League this season. The former Southampton player is still struggling to move Fabinho, who has played very well in the last four matches.

While waiting for an opportunity, Lallana continued to study. He doesn't even want to study with anyone, including Barcelona's young players who played well with Ajax Amsterdam last season, Frenkie De Jong.

"I'm still waiting for an opportunity there, maybe, or maybe not, to come, but of course I'm interested," Lallana told The Times.

"Jordan [Henderson] told me to watch Frenkie de Jong, and the way he played, he carried the ball more often than other players at No. 6, which would certainly be a risk, but I adapted to that. Style," he continued.


Steal Fabinho's knowledge


Since the new term was given by coach Jurgen Klopp, Lallana has studied type 6 players more often than those who previously played the same role. In fact, he sometimes steals Fabinho's knowledge.

"I see player # 6 more often now than # 8 because I know him well, what is their behavior?" he added.

"I often focus on Fabinho in our first game and he plays very well," said the 31-year-old.

If Klopp allows, Lallana might be able to play his final role when Liverpool face Newcastle United in the Premier League. The match took place on Saturday (9/14/2019) at Anfield Stadium.
