Raheem Sterling is not one level with Messi and Ronaldo

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola said star winger Raheem Sterling was not on the same level as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo on Saturday (09/14/2019).

Pep said his statement was not intended to give Sterling confidence, but to encourage players in the English national team to systematically show the best matches.

According to him, a lot of news comparing Sterling with Ronaldo and Messi was not good. "Let's hope he doesn't read news like that too often, because that would be very bad for him," Guardiola was quoted as saying by the BBC.

Pep Guardiola also welcomed Raheem Sterling's appearance with the English national team in the qualifying match for Euro 2020. According to him, Sterling improved his ranking charts.
