Mourinho: Aubameyang will be more comfortable at Liverpool

London - Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang still scores despite a wider game. Jose Mourinho considers Aubameyang's style better at Liverpool now.

Aubameyang is playing a lot newer. Arsenal manager Unai Emery did this to welcome Alexandre Lacazette to the starting lineup 4-3-3.

Aubameyang did not lose his sharpness to score against his opponents. So far, he has scored three goals, one ahead of Lacazette as a target.

Aubameyang admitted that he preferred to play as a center striker, but he was happy and enjoyed his new role.

"I think Aubameyang wants to play midfielder (striker) because he thinks he can score more goals, but maybe he can score more goals by playing on the left," Mourinho told Sky. Sports.

"What happened in Liverpool (Roberto Firmino) was a little behind, leaving more room for (Mohamed) Salah and (Sadio) Mane to stab diagonally," he said.

"I imagine that Aubameyang played on the left side for Liverpool and scored a lot of goals, and at Arsenal Lacazette did not have that quality (giving space)," Mourinho stressed.
