Hazard Can Be a Blessing for Madrid

Fernando Morientes hopes that Eden Hazard can repeat his slick appearance last season. If that can be done, he will be a blessing for Real Madrid.Madrid this summer managed to bring in Eden Hazard from Chelsea. They have to spend 100 million euros (around Rp 1.61 trillion) to land the Belgian player.

Hazard's presence is expected to lift the performance of Los Blancos who last season only finished third in the LaLiga event. He is currently unable to make a debut together in the Spanish League because he is still struggling with injuries.

Even so, Morientes still believes the 28-year-old will be able to answer the expectations imposed on him. He felt Hazard would achieve success with El Real if he could perform like Chelsea.

In his last season with the Blues, Hazard showed an outstanding performance. He managed to pack 21 goals and 17 assists in all competitions.

"I believe (he will be a blessing), seeing how the price and appearance last season. It is true there are some Liverpool players who are at an extraordinary level of play. But for me so far Hazard is the best in the Premier League," said Morientes quoted from Sportskeeda.

"The fact is, he is now moving to LaLiga. I think he is a special recruit. This is not only because the value of our competition is increasing. But also because he is a player who brings a lot of hope," he continued.

"It must be admitted that many players have been linked to Madrid lately. But Hazard is the most stealing the attention. Everyone hopes he can maintain an extraordinary level of play last season," concluded the former Madrid player.
