Chelsea Record Profit Record Due to Embargo Transfer

Chelsea Record Profit Record Due to Embargo Transfer

Chelsea made use of the Roman Abramovich era, just as they had to go through a transfer embargo imposed by FIFA.
Perhaps this is a blessing in itself from the transfer ban imposed by FIFA at Stamford Bridge in the two transfer exchanges. He couldn't bring in a new player, but he threw a few players this summer, making the Blues pocket 133 million pounds or 2.36 trillion rupees.

Frank Lampard was unable to sign a new player contract, after he returned to the previous Derby County club. In addition, Lampard must also see that there are 21 players who left Stamford Bridge this season, including the main star, Eden Hazard, and the failed attacker, arolvaro Morata. From there, Lampard was able to generate extraordinary funds, 173 million pounds, or around 3.07 trillion rupees!

However, that number was reduced to 133 million pounds, after the Blues paid a permanent contract to their Real Madrid loan player, Mateo Kovacic, by 40 million pounds. Kovacic joined the Lampard team smoothly because he was registered as a Blues player, regardless of loan status, last season.

The profit value of 133 million pounds is very surprising compared to the benefits that can be obtained by the previous Chelsea coach. In addition, Felipe Scolari years ago could only get 13 million pounds, when he balanced the arrival of José Bosingwa and Deco, who swallowed 27 million pounds by releasing Shaun Wright-Phillips and Wayne Bridge to Manchester City at that time.

Before Lampard, Abramovich had made a fortune when they were attended by José Mourinho in the 2014/15 season, when the Portuguese coach brought Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas, and then won the Premier League title. But Mourinho spent 6 million pounds after releasing David Luiz, Romelu Lukaku and Andre Schurrle.

However, apart from those three seasons, Abramovich recorded losses in all the transfer markets he had gone through. In two other summer exchanges when Mourinho trained in the second period, the coach really spent a lot of money. Instead of profit, the Blues suffered a loss of up to 43 million pounds.

The amount of loss is even better compared to the first period of The Special One at Stamford Bridge. Because, at that time, he continued to do business with four players in the summer market without stopping, so Abramovich lost 245 million pounds, despite the fact that Mourinho produced two titles.

The most severe, when Chelsea took care of Claudio Ranieri. The Italian coach spends 152 million pounds, and ONLY gets only 1 million pounds. This acquisition value is the least compared to other Blues managers.

Despite successfully offering the trophy, during the two seasons of Ancelotti's leadership, the Blues owner recorded a loss of up to 118 million pounds. This was stated by SunSport.

While in the Maurizio Sarri era, despite the fact that only two permanent players arrived last summer, the coach caused the Blues to lose up to 124 million pounds. This happened after Sarri signed a Christian Pulisic contract in January, before returning him to Borussia Dortmund.

Interestingly, Antonio Conte spent a lot of money at the club compared to all the previous Chelsea coaches. In just one season, with a record 234 million pounds in the 2017/18 season.

However, Conte also got more money than Lampard, who was 181 million pounds, even though the club still had a deficit of 53 million pounds. So, in total, Abramovich's losses reached a staggering figure, worth 744 million pounds or around 13 billion rupees!

But even if Lampard makes a lot of profit, that amount will certainly change if the transfer embargo ends immediately or is canceled, and the former Blues midfielder can bring in new players, although he can also release some veterans.
