Andrea Pirlo Believe Mario Balotelli Can Return Translucent to the Italian national team

Balotelli strengthened Italy for the last time in 2018 yesterday and it is believed that his move to Brescia will allow Pirlo to head to the Azzurri.

Andrea Pirlo believes that Mario Balotelli can be called up to join the Italian national team after his transfer to Brescia last summer.

Balotelli decided to return to his club from his hometown, in accordance with his contract at Marseille, which expired. Players sign a three-year contract until June 2022.

He had just scored in a 3-2 win over Frosinone in a trial match, but he still needed a four-match ban which he brought back from league 1 before being able to participate in the competition.

"If Balotelli chooses to defend Brescia, that means he wants to start his career again and try to show his ability," Pirlo told Italian news agency Ansa.

"And if he does, everything will follow, including the results, even if it is the national team.

"But returning to the Italian team obviously depends on its performance - if you don't show your value on the field, you won't be able to do it."

Balotelli has strengthened Italy for the last time in 2018 and has played three matches, including a goal in a trial match against Qatar in May after his brilliant performance in Ligue 1.
