Alphonse Areola must sit on the bench more than play. However, Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane has never doubted Alphonse Areola's abilities.

Didier Deschamps, coach of the French team, is worried about Alphonse Areola's decision to move to Real Madrid. Because if he doesn't play regularly, it will hurt France. Alphonse Areola is subscribed to the Le Blues group.

"If he stops playing regularly, it will be a problem, whether it's a goalkeeper or a field player, it's better to have a few minutes to play regularly," Deschamps said.

France currently has three main goalkeepers. Aside from Hugo Lloris and Alphonse Areola, Deschamps still has Mike Maignan [24 years / Lille] as a third choice.
