Alexis Sanchez thinks he doesn't have enough opportunities at MU
Alexis Sanchez's performance at Manchester United is far from satisfying. Sanchez doesn't understand why he isn't always played.
Sanchez joined Manchester United after joining Arsenal in January 2018. It seems impressive with the Gunners, the Chilean player must be a weapon in the MU front lines.
But Sanchez is slow. He only scored five goals in 45 appearances in all competitions. Together with Arsenal, Sanchez scored 80 goals in 166 matches.
Sanchez also doesn't always play full time, only 31 times to start from 77 possible matches and 13 times to play without being replaced. Sanchez doesn't understand why MU doesn't always let him play hard.
"I think I'm happy playing for the national team," Sanchez told BBC Sport.
"I'm also happy at Manchester United, but I always say to my friends: I want to play."
"If only they let me play, I would do my best, sometimes I played 60 minutes and then the next match didn't play, and I don't know why," he said.
