This United Hurry Player Claimed Similar Philippe Coutinho

A flattery is given by Brendan Rodgers to James Maddison. The Leicester City coach rated the midfielder to be similar to his former foster children at Liverpool, Philippe Coutinho.
Maddison's name began to rise since last season. Together with Leicester City, the 22-year-old performs a special game and invites admiration from various parties.

One of the teams known to be interested in bringing Maddison is Manchester United. Red Devils even claimed to make the main prey of their players in the summer of 2020.
Rodgers himself claimed not to be surprised if Maddison was targeted by many clubs like MU. "He [Maddison] has great potential," Rodgers told the Manchester Evening News.

Rodgers considered that the young man had a style of play that reminded him of Coutinho when he was still handling Liverpool.

"He is a typical player who moves from one position to another. I am reminded of Coutinho at Liverpool, where he sometimes plays inside, and sometimes he plays wide."
"James is a bit like him in the aspect of his position. He is really a talented player who has the desire to learn and work hard to play better."

Rodgers also confirmed that Maddison is still not at the level of Coutinho at the moment. There are many aspects that must be addressed in the 22-year youth game.

"I think he can play better, especially regarding the management of his game. But he is a great talent and we are trying to prepare him to play at the highest level as long as possible."
"He must be more consistent, but this child is a humble child, but has good arrogance. He is a good kid and his game will improve, because he loves his playing style." added the coach.

Manchester United must be prepared to spend enough to recruit Maddison.
Leicester City will reportedly set around 80 million pounds for the transfer fee for the former Norwich City player.
