Theo Hernandez is optimistic about Milan's future with Giampaolo
AC Milan's new defender Theo Hernandez calls Marco Giampaolo a good coach and believes the Rossoneri have a bright future.
Giampaolo joined Milan in the summer of 2019 yesterday. He was recruited to another club from series A, Sampdoria.
The 52-year-old coach is trying to perfect the Milan team to understand his favorite pattern, 4-3-1-2. But so far, the results have not shown encouraging performance.
Milan had a poor performance in the match against Udinese in Friuli and lost 1-0. In his performance against Brescia, Giampaolo changed tactics and despite winning 1-0, the Rossoneri's appearance was not yet solid.
optimistic
Theo said he did not know anything about Giampaolo before. But now, he knows that his coach is a quality coach.
He called for training under his heavy care. The 21-year-old defender is optimistic about Milan's promising future with Giampaolo
"I don't know Giampaolo, but he's a very good coach," he told Milan TV.
"In training, he is very aggressive, very intense, we will do a lot of good things with him and with this army," Theo said.
In Milan, the French defender chose to wear jersey number 19. Theo later revealed that he chose the number because of the influence of his brother.
"I like number 19 because it's the same as my brother [Lucas Hernandez] I also used it last season and, because this number wasn't used, I decided to take it" Theo explained.
He later stated that his adaptation to Milan went well. However, he still has to work hard to be able to speak Italian better.
"I have two positive and peaceful months here." "I came home after spending the first few months in a hotel," said Theo.
"I haven't learned many words in Italian, the only thing I can say is 'molto bella' [very beautiful]!" he joked
