Official: MU frees Matteo Darmian at Parma

Manchester - Manchester United release players before the closure of the European transfer market. Italian right-back Matteo Darmian has officially joined Parma.

The transfer agreement between Darmian has been concluded since Saturday (09/31/2019), although it was announced today (2/9). The 29-year-old soccer player was bought by Parma for only 1.5 million euros (23.3 billion rupees).

Darmian passed a medical examination with the Gialloblu at the end of last week, before officially signing a four-year contract. Thus it has been reported by Italian football.

"Parma Calcio is pleased to announce the permanent recruitment of Matteo Darmian to Manchester United," reads a statement published on Parma's official website.

Darmian has strengthened MU for four years since arriving in Turin in 2015. He has performed in 92 matches and helped the Red Devils win the FA Cup and FA Cup medals.

However, Darmian became a surplus on the right side of the MU defense after bringing Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Because the Red Devils still have a young defender, Diogo Dalot, who is traced as a cover.

"Manchester United can ensure that defender Matteo Darmian will join the Italian club at Parma - everyone at Manchester United wants to thank him for his services and hope for the best for the future," MU wrote on his official website.
