Mkhitaryan opened a new cycle in Rome
Rome - Henrikh Mkhitaryan continued his career at AS Roma. The Armenian midfielder was loaned out by Roma to Arsenal.
Mkhitaryan had landed in the city of Rome on Monday (02/09/2019), local time. He then signed a loan agreement for one season.
Rome paid 3 million euros to borrow Mkhitaryan. The agreement also includes a performance bonus of up to € 100,000.
Mkhitaryan has not really entered into Unai Emery's plans at Arsenal this season. In the English League 2019/2020, this has just begun. Mkhitaryan also saw Rome as a new chapter in his career.
"This is a good opportunity for me to start a new chapter, with a big club," Mkhitaryan said on the club's official website.
"I know what Rome is and I am sure we can achieve extraordinary things together," he said.
Mkhitaryan became Rome's second rookie on the last day of the summer transfer slot. Previously, I Lupi also inaugurated the arrival of Nikola Kalinic from Atletico Madrid.
