Manchester United Prepares New Contract for Paul Pogba
Manchester United is reported to have contacted agent Paul Pogba by offering a new contract offer. MU wants to keep the French midfielder even longer.
Throughout the transfer market this summer, speculation about Pogba's future is one of the main topics. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had to emphasize that he could provide the challenge Pogba wanted.
Pogba finally stayed at Old Trafford because of MU's hard work. Even so, it does not mean that MU can forget this speculation just like that. Real Madrid and Juventus are still interested in pursuing Pogba next year.
Therefore, MU is trying to move faster with this new contract. Read the full review below, Bolaneters!
According to L'Equipe, one of the MU leaders, Ed Woodward, had contacted Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, about the possibility of approval of a new contract that would bind him even longer. The Pogba contract will now expire in 2021.
MU business is clearly not easy. Pogba has indicated that he wants to leave, which means that MU must continue to seduce Pogba to survive.
Now, there is only one way to seduce stars like Pogba. MU needs to promise a bigger salary for Pogba, certainly in hopes of winning the trophy.
The problem is, MU cannot just offer a raise. At the moment Pogba has earned £ 290,000 per week, developing a large salary is quite difficult.
Then, reportedly Pogba was not interested in extending his contract. He wants to emulate the steps of Eden Hazard who went to Madrid in the last year of service at his old club.
However, this situation will still develop throughout the season. Depending on the development of MU, Pogba may change his mind and choose to stay.
