Lionel Messi May Leave, Valverde Doesn't Care

Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde commented on the announcement of the Argentine mega star Lionel Messi about his future at the Nou camp on Saturday (09/14/2019).

According to Valverde, he did not read Messi's statement because he did not want to make speculations that lead to negative thinking. According to him, Messi's statement did not need to be feared.

"I don't want to read it, it expresses itself naturally and other people can interpret it differently," Valverde was quoted as saying by Marca.

Messi said he could have left Barcelona. But the player nicknamed La Pulga has management conditions if he still survives at the Nou camp.

"The club decides which players will be chosen or not, but I am not worried about his future," Valverde said.
