Chris Smalling Wants to Be Permanent in AS Roma

Defender Chris Smalling says he wants to become a permanent player at AS Roma. Smalling believes his career will be long in the Italian Serie A on Friday (06/09/2019).

"This (loan from AS Roma) is an opportunity and I am very interested in playing with AS Roma immediately," Smallig told Italian football.

According to him, he would not reject a permanent offer from AS Roma. Smalling said he would be very happy to play in Serie A. Italy

"If there is an opportunity to leave a club of this size, of course I will be very happy, I can see the future in Italy," added Smalling.

Smalling said he currently focused on the Il Lupi match in Serie A. However, he admitted that he was still learning and adapting to Serie A.

"I am concentrating on the next match, and improving the speed of the game and training so you can navigate very well this season," he said.

AS Roma took a loan from Chris Smalling for one season. But at the end of the season, the Italian capital club can certainly maintain its status if he dares to pay 12 million euros.

Harry Maguire's presence at Manchester United's back line forced Smalling to lift Old Trafford's suitcase.
