Azerbaijan vs Croatia on Tuesday (10/9) morning after 1-1. The presence of two La Liga stars, Ivan Perisic and Luka Modric, did not help!
The duet of two La Liga players was disappointing in the aftermath of Tuesday's Group E qualifying match at Bakcell Arena after the results of Azerbaijan v Croatia were only 1-1. With this result the top four group teams still have the chance to qualify for the 2020 European Cup finals next year.
The visitors who were strengthened by a duet from Barcelona and Real Madrid, Ivan Perisic and Luka Modric, in the midfield did manage to flow a lot of attacks in front. There were 21 shots fired by Croatian children, but only seven were on target and only one was scored. It also must go through a penalty in the 11th minute.
Luka Modric and his friends excelled in everything in this match last night. They are superior to the dominance of the ball which reached 63%, superior to the number of attempted attacks up to 21 times compared to eight owned by the host, and also superior to matters of shots on target seven to three.
