LA Lakers star threatened to go to jail
LA Lakers star DeMarcus Cousins is threatened with imprisonment for threatening to shoot his ex-girlfriend.
Cousins was really unlucky in August 2019. Just joining the Los Angeles Lakers, Cousins was injured by an ACL. As a result, Cousins could be absent for a full season in the 2019-2020 NBA.
After getting injured, Cousins took the altar. He married Morgan Lang last weekend. But bad luck again befell Cousins.
Cousins is now threatened in jail for a maximum of a year. The reason is because Cousins threatened to shoot his ex-girlfriend Christy West for not allowing his 7-year-old son to attend a marriage with Lang.
West then reports Cousins to the police on charges that Cousins has threatened his life. Alabama Police later issued an arrest warrant for Cousins.
LA Lakers and the NBA are aware of this case, but have not commented on what happened to Cousins.
Conversation Record
According to the USA Today report, Cousins was charged with third-degree harassment communication, a serious offense in domestic violence sentenced to a maximum of one year in prison if convicted.
In recorded telephone conversations obtained by TMZ Sports, Cousins did threaten to shoot West's head if he forbade his son from attending the wedding.
